Grammy Winner Tony Lindsay Back on Charts with Single “All is One”

11-time Grammy Winner and former Santana vocalist Tony Lindsay is back on the independent soul and R&B music charts with his latest single, “All is One.”
The single follows hot on the heels of Lindsay’s previous album, Something Beautiful, which earned him four top-ten songs on the Internet Broadcasters’ Alliance’s Indie Soul Chart, including the number-one hits “Sweet Love” and the title track, “Something Beautiful.”
Written by Lindsay and music producer Randy Emata, “All is One” features rhythmic, Latin-infused soul reminiscent of better times and delivers an urgent reminder of the bonds shared by everyone across culture and nationality—a timely message given the current issues facing today’s world.
Indirectly, the song also serves as an illustration that good things often take time: Lindsay revealed that the song was actually 15 years in the making.
“We wrote this song before the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement rose into the public consciousness, back when no one had even heard of anything like COVID-19,” Lindsay said. “We just sort of put it on the shelf, and it wasn’t until just recently, with all these issues going on, that I spoke to Emata and said, ‘Didn’t we write a song about unity and everyone needing to come together?’ That conversation was enough for us to take another look at it and agree that now was the time for it.”

Anyone who knows music knows Santana, and if that’s a given, then so is famed vocalist Tony Lindsay: a singer whose voice helped power the group to 11 Grammys and worldwide acclaim. Since launching his own solo career, Lindsay has continued to earn accolades: his last album, Something Beautiful, has taken the music-streaming world by storm, earning him four top-ten songs on the Internet Broadcasters’ Alliance’s Indie Soul Chart.
Lindsay now follows up that impressive feat with the single “All is One”: a catchy, Latin-infused soul hit that will have salsa aficionados unconsciously tapping their feet to the beat.
